The course, which begins on the 8th of June, will be led by Sarah McQuade, our Coach Development Mentor with over 20 years of experience working in sports coach education. It will run on a limited cohort basis over an 8-week period, comprising live and recorded webinars, online learning, forums, discussions and course assessment and diploma certification endorsed by United Soccer Coaches.

An Introduction to Mentoring
In this lesson, we will explore what mentoring is and define it.
In this second lesson, we will explore the role of the mentor. We will help you to reflect on what you are currently doing as a mentor, what qualities you already demonstrate, and what ingredients you would like to add to help you become an even effective mentor to soccer coaches.
In this third lesson, we move on to thinking about mentoring relationships.
The degree to which mentoring relationship is structured and managed depends on how old the relationship is, and the level of coach expertise.
In this fourth lesson, we look at the mentoring cycle.
