Ross is our Coach Development Mentor

Ross Embleton, a UEFA Pro Licence holder, is currently Colchester United's head of recruitment and has previously worked at clubs including Leyton Orient, where he was the O's head coach.

Ross has also worked within the first team at Swindon Town as well as the academies of Premier League clubs, Tottenham Hotspur and AFC Bournemouth, as well as Norwich City.

As part of the MiMentor team, Ross's philosophy of growing and learning as a coach so he can keep improving and developing players at all levels of the game is in line with our own.

"I like to stretch myself across many different levels and formats of the game, coaching young children all the way through to the experiences I've had working with first-team players. One of the things I like to pride myself on is finding all the elements of the game that relate to each age group and each level, and how they can transfer and lead into each other, and how I can benefit as a coach to get the most out of the players I'm working with."

Ross contributes to our online coach development content and session plans, as well as our Coaches Coffee Club interviews.
