MiMentor Launches Innovative New Course, 'The Power of 3v3'

MiMentor, the leading online football coach education platform, is thrilled to announce the launch of a ground-breaking new CPD course for soccer coaches, titled 'The Power of 3v3'.

Created in collaboration with 3v3 UK, this course introduces the unique benefits of 3v3 football to coaches looking to enhance the development of their players.

The 3v3 football format is gaining popularity worldwide for its ability to provide players with remarkable returns across many aspects of the game, mainly focusing on the technical and physical corners of long-term player development.

The Power of 3v3 Course

'The Power of 3v3' course will teach coaches at all levels of the game about the advantages of the 3v3 format compared to larger football formats.

This fast-paced game prioritises skill, creativity, ball mastery, and decision-making, ensuring each player is constantly involved.

Whether used as a development tool in training or adopted as a competitive option in leagues and tournaments, 3v3 football is proving

to be a game-changer. The course delves into various aspects, including why 3v3 is excellent for developing footballers, two and three-player core moves and practices, 3v3 constraints and adaptations, and ideas for clubs to integrate 3v3 into their programmes.

Additionally, coaches will have access to useful free downloads, including the excellent 3v3 UK Training Guide.

The course was developed by MiMentor’s Jamie Godbold, a former tutor with the English FA, and features video content with Mike Melvin, Managing Director of 3v3 UK.

“3v3 UK are delighted to work with MiMentor to produce a great course on 3v3 football,” said Mike. “The platform and courses are a great tool for all types of coaches, and we are pleased we can recommend such a great platform to our partners and coaches.

“We look forward to working together more to help coaches, parents and players in their football journey."

3v3

Established in 2018, 3v3 UK has been at the forefront of promoting the 3v3 football format. In 2021, they joined forces with Europe’s most experienced 3v3 tournament supplier, 3v3europe.com, taking on the master franchise for the UK.

Their mission is to accelerate the development of 3v3 football with franchisees all over the country, and they are hoping that working with The English FA will help make 3v3 a mandatory game format for the youngest age groups in the very near future.

'The Power of 3v3' online coach CPD course is now available on-demand from the extensive MiMentor Coach Education library of courses here. Those who buy the course during the launch phase will also benefit from an amazing half-price discount using code ‘3v3UK’ at the checkout.
